Frequently Asked Questions

What can hypnotherapy help?

Solution focused hypnotherapy can help a very wide range of issues, from chronic pain and tinnitus, to fertility issues and child birth. Anything that is caused by, or made worse by stress, we can help with. Please click here for more, or get in touch and ask if you are not sure.

How long does it take?

This can vary from client to client depending on the problem they come along with, and their dedication and commitment to the process. On average, 8-12 weekly sessions for most cases. Together we discuss your progress, and you decide when you're ready!

Will you make me dance like a chicken?

Short answer - No! Unless of course you want me to! No one can be hypnotised into doing something they wouldn't do normally. You are in complete control at all times.

Will trance change my personality?

You will always be you. Trance is simply a deeply relaxed state where we can start making positive suggestions. However your brain is still your brain, and if I say anything it disagrees with, it will simply throw it out without a moment's thought.

What if I fall asleep?

You will find that you probably won't, as your mind has made the decision it wants to listen and get better. However, if you do drift off it doesn't matter one bit. Your subconscious mind is still listening!

Will I need to come back once we're done?

This is completely up to you. Our sessions aim to teach you a set of skills and give you the tools to be able to maintain your happiness throughout your life. However you may want a 'top up' or refresher every once in a while.
